Message from the President
Dear Fellow FAMUan:
Welcome to the Leon County Chapter’s website. It has been
developed as another service for our members, other alumni
and friends.
In addition to a long-standing partnership with our alma mater,
the Leon County Chapter has several unique characteristics.
It is the:
Home site of our alma mater, FAMU;
Oldest chapter in existence (an outgrowth of the national
association in 1901—organized in 1930); and
Chapter with the largest number of members (life and regular).
